Hello Awesome Students,
Are you ready for your second challenge? If you did last week's doodle challenge, do you have your favorite doodle with you right now? No? Ok, go get it! Get a piece of paper and something to write with too! I'll wait here while you get everything.
Your challenge this week is to create a story with only SIX sentences! You are NOT allowed to write more than 6 sentences. (And don't even think about getting sneaky with run-on sentences!) Here are your six sentences:
1. Once upon a time, there was ___.
2. Every day, ___.
3. One day ___.
4. Because of that, ___.
5. Because of that, ___.
6. Until finally ___.
If you have a doodle, use it as inspiration and write your story about it. If you don't like your story, flip your paper over and start again. If you don't like that story, crumple it up, toss it into the recycling Steph Curry style, and start again! You can write as many stories as you want, but each story can only be six sentences long. If you write a story you love, send it to me and I will post it to the website. My email is samoss@nhusd.k12.ca.us
Ready? Set? Write!
Love & Books,
Mrs. Moss
