Friday Challenge #8!

Hello Wonderful Students!

This week we are...

MAKING BOOKS!

Have you read all the books in your house? Don't worry! Besides all the free books you can find online, you can also make your own books!

⭐ Your challenge this week is to choose one of the options below* and create your own books.

You will need...

▯ Blank paper

✂ Scissors

✏ Something to write with

🧠 Your brain

Glue, tape, or stapler (optional)

You choose which of these books to make:

8-Page Fold - How-To Video

16-Page Fold - How-To Video

Accordion Book - Instructions

Wacky Fold Book - Instructions

You can fill your books with anything you want: stories (check out Challenge #2 for a good story outline), facts, pictures, words, feelings, your life, someone else's life, the past, the present, the future, things you see around you, silly words you invented, plans for your spaceship, reasons why you think your cat might be a spy...anything! You could even turn it into a Mother's Day book for your mom or grandma to give to her on Sunday! You could also leave your book blank and save it for next week's challenge... 😉

Bonus: If you want to see how publishers make books, check out this video on "How Books Are Born".

Love & Books,

Mrs. Moss

*Secret tip: You can invent your own kind of book, too!
